Jason Booher is the founder and CEO of Northwest Harbor Solutions – a thought leader and recognized expert at building and leading high-performing organizations. As CEO, he leads a diverse group of career Special Operations and commercial experts, and advises client senior executives on executing corporate strategy and navigating transformational change. He has led successful engagements and driven value creation across multiple industries: from middle-market through Fortune 500 companies, the local public sector to professional sports, and from the most senior levels of the U.S. Congress to the senior military leadership of dozens of countries.

Prior to founding Northwest Harbor, Jason served for 23 years as a Navy SEAL: as a Leader, Educator, Strategist and Innovator, building and leading elite teams in global, no-fail environments. An innovative problem solver, he was consistently handpicked to tackle critical challenges and develop new, cutting-edge capabilities for the SEAL Teams and larger U.S. Special Operations enterprise. He consistently delivered high-value solutions to fill critical operational gaps as the 10K-person SEAL enterprise transformed itself during the fight against terror around the globe. Jason commanded hundreds of combat operations, led the last phase of basic SEAL training, and spearheaded the effective integration of cross-functional intelligence teams, and diversity & gender capabilities into the full spectrum of SEAL global operations. He developed and led x11 complex programs, created three “first-ever” capabilities, and designed, built & led two new SEAL organizations from the ground up - all of which became best practice within the Department of Defense. Jason led his team to two, back-to-back national-level civilian awards for Innovation in the Defense Industry, and commanded an elite SEAL unit he created for five years, before retiring from the Navy and founding Northwest Harbor.

Jason earned a BA in International Relations and Economics from the University of San Diego, and holds the highest international certifications for both Program and Portfolio Management from the Institute of Program Management. He has guest lecturered in the Graduate School Leadership Initiatives at Harvard and MIT, and built and taught a course on Merging Global Business Cultures in the Rady School of Business at the University of California, San Diego. He is also a regular guest speaker to both corporations and at the highest levels of professional sports.

Jason currently lives in San Diego with his family where he continues his passion for service; staying very active in the San Diego community, youth programs and school districts.
