Jonathan Hee is a Northwest Harbor Advisor who brings over three decades of executive experience to the Northwest Harbor Team. Jon is an enterprise leader with deep expertise in establishing and scaling commercial operations to successfully launch new biopharmaceutical companies and products. He helped create two multi-billion-dollar companies in the biopharmaceutical industry, taking them from pre-commercial planning to commercial build out, product launch and lifecycle management.

 

Jon previous served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Aries Pharmaceuticals, and as Vice President, Commercial Affairs at Santarus: both specialty pharmaceutical companies focused on commercializing best-in-class biopharmaceutical products. Prior to leading commercialization efforts at Santarus to a successful multi-billion-dollar sale, Jon worked with Agouron Pharmaceuticals in both Sales and Marketing leadership roles, where he ultimately led the commercial transition efforts following a $2.1B acquisition by Pfizer.  Before joining Agouron, he was with Gensia, where he held manager & director roles in Corporate Development, Marketing and Market Planning. Jon started his career with Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), working in Alaska and California, as a Senior Project Engineer. 

 

Jon holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and lives in San Diego with his family.
