Matt Viotto is a Principal at Northwest Harbor, bringing over 20 years of executive leadership, change management, finance, sales and marketing experience to the Northwest Harbor Team.
​
Matt has deep subject matter expertise in the wine and spirits industry. He is a co-founder and proprietor at Karlsen Wines, and has successfully advised the ownership at numerous wineries to include, The Aquilini Wine Group, American Vintners and Domaine Serene. Matt delivers value to clients through the style, development, pricing and marketing of their wines - developing and implementing strategic business plans and go-to-market strategies to deliver long term growth in their brands.

Prior to his work as a consultant, Matt served as the adjunct Vice President of Sales and Marketing for WillaKenzie Estate, after serving as General Manager and Senior Vice President at Talbott Vineyards. At Talbott, he held full responsibility for brand and company vision, sales, marketing and finance, and ultimately managed the winery through a full transition, following a successful acquisition.

Matt holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and has served as a judge at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition for close to a decade. He lives in San Diego with his family where he is very active in the local community.
